The Whiskey Jug

20" x 16" oil on canvas - SOLD
I did this from life awhile back, during a time I was totally enamored with David Leffel's work, which I still admire (not that this remotely approaches his achievement).

  3. Thanks so much, ladies. The painting has never generated much interest when I've shown it; I think maybe because it's kind of dark.
Lisa, the immediacy of your daily paintings is inspiring. Although I just got back from taking my things to FedEx, it makes me think I should paint something right this minute instead of waiting until tomorrow.
